The Flare Forge
A shrouded citadel located on the outskirts of the city of Rising Iron, Emberensis. Once the beating heart of the Ferrum, responsible for the manufacture of marvelous armor and weapons which supplied their armies, it now stands as a mausoleum to both Ferrum prominence and perplexity.
The Flare Forge is an island far to the south of the Pillar of Entropy. Older even than the Pillar itself, this majestic Ferrum Forge is now home to the legendary Azure Flare, born out of the deepest desires of a Ferrum blacksmith. The flame within growing over the course of time, it was befallen by an unknown corruption festering inside the blacksmith's heart. The Flare is said to cleanse and cure any ailment and corruption, a twist of fated irony only surpassed by its own limitless potency.
The Forge was constructed during war time between the southern Ferrum city-nation of Emberensis and the north-western kingdoms of Man. According to Falker it almost seemed to have appeared overnight, doubling the production of Ferrum weapons and armor.
Journeying to the Flare Forge requires finishing the Side Quest Armistice and making sufficient progress in the Main Story Quest Embers of Avarice until Greckko's Modified Arm has been received.
The Main Story Quest Embers Of Avarice to upgrade the Forge can be completed on the Flare Forge.
