Paragon's Rest

Standing as both memorial and monument, long has Paragon's Rest served as the final harbor for the heroes and leaders of Buel'Sar. Yet in the age of the Night Plague, what was once a place for revelry and remembrance has become a necropolis sought by those wishing to wield an army of the deceased.

In the ages predating the Night Plague, many human kingdoms existed in the northern parts of Talamhel in whose honor Paragon's Rest was constructed as a firm foundation and reminder, a final resting place for royalty of the kingdom of Buel'Sar. The grand structure houses the Purgatorial Corpus, the ancient mausoleum. It is further believed that a majestic library, containing the last words of a generation of Buel'Sarian kings, is found beyond the ever-closed Peat Gate at the peak of the island. Paragon's Rest is now watched over by its groundskeeper and historian Mott, The Bogged Curator.

In the wake of the Night Plague the island experienced a number of Seethers, crazed Cultists of Death, swarming the lower levels destroying many of the tomes, altars and sarcophagi held within.

The island can be reached via Grainwake without any other requirements.

The Scavenging Side Quest Paragon's Plunder can be accepted on Paragon's Rest.
