Ruins of Hurwell

The Ruins of Hurwell is an island to the South-East of Starspire, just east of The Sunken Tower
Description:
A sprawling cluster of damaged buildings, flooded streets and tall towers, it's dangers are many. Strange insects and numerous corrupted hang about the watery sections, while graverobbers and knights stand watch over the walkways and towers. A high walkway, accessible via a towering ladder, offers a commanding, if vertigo inducing, birds eye view of the town.

NPCs:
Alaira, The Lady of Hurwell can be met here as an NPC prior to the bossfight, along with Calder, Danathea, and the graverobbers Ulburr, the Dirt Defiler and Auckkerman, The Pilfer Worm.

There are two secret walls on this island. Interact with them unprompted to open them. The first is on the lowest level, near where you meet Alaira the first time. Face the leaning statue of the 'coward duke' with your back to where Alaira was standing Turn 90° to the right, and follow that wall around away from the base of the steps. The little cut-in section of the wall is your goal. The second is in the Throne Room, a curved section of wall between the staircases up to the thrones. |
