In Sands of Aura, the Forge is the primary component for enhancing Weapons and Armor Sets. It is situated in the center of the main plaza on Starspire Refuge.

The Forge itself represents a progression system and can be further enhanced throughout the game. A total of five additional tiers can be unlocked, each tier raising the maximum rank a Weapon or Armor Set piece may be upgraded to:

Upon locating the Forge, the Side Quest Tending Flames from Danaya, The Forgestoke can be accepted to gain free materials and currency.

Using the Forge costs Glint and Sacrumite upgrade materials.

Weapon Forge

Weapon Forge allows the construction of an entirely new weapon based on its four passive modifiers Fighting Style, Weapon Head, Pommel and Codex. Besides Character Creation, the Weapon Forge is the only avenue that allows choosing a weapon's Fighting Style.

Forging a new weapon costs 200 glint regardless of modifier combinations, adding or omitting optional modifiers does not affect the costs. Weapon Forge allows the choice of all modifier combinations without limitation as long as they have been learned.

Weapon Modify

Weapon Modify allows changing and swapping out three of the four passive modifiers of an owned weapon, excluding the Fighting Style. The process allows the weapon to be recrafted with any combination of modifiers without limitations and displays the new nomenclature of the weapon.

Modifying a weapon costs glint. The price is based on the rank of the weapon.
