Melgom's Cavern

Melgom's Cavern is a massive cavern complex below Starspire Refuge. It houses the island's vast cistern and clean water supply alongside a hidden network of catacombs. According to the people of Starspire, the caverns were created by the ancient god Melgom, Carver of Talamhel himself.

A recent church fire far above has led a stream of corruption flow through the ceilings of the Cavern into the water supplies, leading to a devastating contamination.

In Sands of Aura, Melgom's Cavern signifies the first starting area.
