The Tempered Codex is a unique Consumable Item in Sands of Aura. It is used to unlock its respective style used in Weapon Crafting at the Forge.
Effect
Tempered Codex When killing an enemy excess damage will carry over to the next attack up to a maximum of 200% of your weapon damage.
Codex Location
The codex is rewarded upon completing The Smile of Hatred.
Lore
Snowcinders were the greatest weapon makers in all of Old Talamhel. Exiled from the Ferrum population, these unique Ferrum tempered steel high in the snow-covered mountains of the North, where most Ferrum would never travel. There, they traded their knowledge of expert craftsmanship with the humans in exchange for an undisturbed safe haven. Though this partnership would not last, Tempered weapons were the result of humanity's attempts to emulate the Snowcinders' mastery.
