Black Rot Chasm
Once thought eternally buried, Black Rot Chasm is now all the remains of Nemsiris, capital city of the Hashara. With domiciles of shimmering jade and merchant districts suspended high above their lesser counterparts, the city has become a casualty of its own ambition and an omen about the cost of conflict.
Deep underground City of Nemsiris, "The Glimmering Hive", home to the Hashara swarm. Led by their queen, the buried city was uncovered and unleashed when Maveth took temporary control of Aura's body and her connection to the physical plane of Talamhel.
Journeying to the Black Rot Chasm requires finishing the Main Story Quest The Festival of the Spire and accepting the Main Story Quest Scions and Succession.
The Scavenging Side Quest The Chasm's Cache can be accepted on Black Rot Chasm.
