The Nexus
The Nexus is an ominous cavern far beneath Starspire Refuge. Almost nothing is known about this place's purpose or provenance, save that it has some connection to the ancient Gods of Talamhel and the Pillar of Entropy.

The Nexus is primarily a Portal Chamber carved by the God Melgom, leading to various places like the Dune of Creation and the Pillar of Entropy. Heralding from the distant past, the Chamber was created alongside a number of Sigils whose power is intrinsically linked to the other ancient Gods and are used to activate the portals within the Nexus. It was put in place as both defensive and offensive mechanism in the wake of the Night Plague and therefore contains the only known safe avenue into the Pillar itself. |
