Quest Overview

Liturgy of Ice is a Side Quest in Sands of Aura. Side quests are optional and do not alter the primary ending of the game, but some may alter the arcs of certain characters. After docking at the Coldwell, you’ll take an elevator to the upper portion of the island. After entering the frozen cavern you’ll notice various thin bridges which connect to columns of ice. While it appears as if the way is barred by great chasms between the platforms, observing closely will reveal that falling snow collects upon invisible pathways. With this knowledge, you can progress to the right most portion of the entrance and follow an invisible path that leads to a platform holding the “Splintering Pike,” item. Doubling back the way you came, along the left most path you’ll come upon a froze corpse that appears suspended in midair. Using this invisible path, you can proceed into the chamber interior. Once within the depths of the Coldwell, you’ll be attacked by the boss of the island and after defeating him, you can find a small altar at the back of the room. If you collected the “Splintering Pike,” item, you can place it here and the spirit Ostirad, the Wandering Wolf, will emerge to give you the Dust Fall Talisman. Step by step Watch the snow fall and see where it is landing. there are invisible pathways to walk on. From the bell turn right and follow the invisible path to the end. Retrieve the banner and return to the bell and make a left. Follow the path till you reach a room Defeat the boss. Take the banner to the altar in the back of the boss room.
